Starkbier fest this coming weekend

Starkbier fest is back to celebrate the breweries of Cincinnati and strong beer! The festival takes place at Listermann Brewing Company (1621 Dana Ave.) April 24th 5 pm to 12 AM and April 25th Noon to 11 PM. Stark is German for strong so there will be quite a few strong beers on tap, mixed in with lower ABV brews. There is no cost to attend Oktoberfest, just pay for whatever you eat and drink!

They are up to 19 breweries!!!
The breweries involved are: Blank Slate, Fifty West, Christian Morelein, Rock Bottom, Rivertown, Mt. Carmel, Madtree, Cellar Dweller, Wiedemann, Quaff Bros, Rhinegeist, Triple Digit, Bad Tom Smith, Tap and Screw, Taft’s Ale House, Paradise, Old Firehouse, Ei8ht Ball and Listermann.
Listermann Brewing Company has teamed up with Cincideutsch, a Cincinnati non-profit, to host the event. They will be bringing an authentic German feel to the festival, as well as booths, banners and parades to talk about their club. The ceremonial keg tapping of the Listermann Oktoberfest Lager will be held at Saturday at 4 p.m.

Like the Volksfest and Oktoberfest Fest previously held at LBC, this event will be family and dog friendly. More info on the music and food vendors will be provided later.

For special accommodations or questions, call Listermann’s at 513-731-1130 or email Jason at [email protected]. If you would like to volunteer, send an email to [email protected]com
